Biometrical sensors and electricity to relieve pain

Pain relief without medication – that sounds too good to be true. »Cur«, a new product by a start-up from San Francisco, delivers an alternative to pills for people with chronic pain. »Cur« is a wireless version of the TENS (Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulation) system. This therapy dampens pain temporarily by sending low electrical currents to the brain, which mask pain signals and such work pain-relieving. So far with no known side effects.
